  • Nuclear Stress Testing
  • Used to diagnose heart disease in patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, excessive fatique, and/or cardiac arrhythmias

    • Evaluates plaque & cholestrol that can occlude your renal arteries to become clogged & cause high blood pressure & even loss of your kidney function
    • Abdominal Ultrasound:
    • Allows visualization of the abdominal aorta & iliac arteries to asses for life threatening abdominal ameursyms. This testing can also asses calcification & plaque build up in your aorta & iliac arteries preventing blood flow to your lower extremities; which can cause low extremity pain with activity
    • Lower Extremity Arterial Imaging & Ankle Brachial Indexes:
    • Assess for plaque, calcium & cholesterol build up in your log arteries that can lead to significant pain with ambulation; as well as loss of blood flow to your lower extremities & feet; which could lead to amputation
    • Lower Extremity Venous Ultrasound:
    • This study can diagnose lower extremity blood clots; which could lead to extreme pain with activity & even blood closts that could travel to your lungs and other extremities; which could be fatal if untreated. Venous insufficiency can also be diagnosed with this procedure; which will cause swelling or your ower extremities
  • Holter Monitoring
  • This monitoring is helpful in diagnosing heart rhythm abnormalities if you have symptoms of racing heart beats, palpitations, lightheadedness & dizziness, feeling of passing out, or if your heart rate is too slow. This study will provide information that can assess the need for medication adjustments and possibly the need for a pacemaker
